ABOUT

Hello! I'm Aina, a German-Swedish comic creator based in Stockholm, Sweden.

I've been creating stories for as long as I can remember, but in 2017 I started publishing my webcomic Idiots Don't Catch Colds, a slow-burn boys' love series about friendship, love, and growing up. Since then, the series has reached readers all over the world, and building this community has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

What draws me most to storytelling is creating characters who feel real. People with flaws, dreams, and relationships that evolve over time. I believe the quiet moments can be just as meaningful as the dramatic ones, and I love exploring the balance between humor, warmth, and emotional depth.

My work is inspired by both Japanese manga and Scandinavian storytelling traditions. While romance is at the heart of Idiots Don't Catch Colds, I'm also fascinated by history and mythology. One day, I hope to create a new comic inspired by Norse mythology.

When I'm not drawing, you'll probably find me visiting museums, reading about history, playing video games, or, most of all, spending time with my friends.

Thank you for reading my stories and supporting my work. It truly means the world to me.
